Blue Gyres – Dave Romero Photography

Hired by a wind energy company to perform ground-based high resolution inspections of their turbine blades I was struck by the grace and beauty of the forms. In motion and up close they are mesmerizing to observe, and as a detailed still image they are stunning in their abstractness. By the end of the survey I had in-hand over 5,000 images from which I selected a handful that I feel stand on their own as art.
